ARTIST PROFILE

Rebecca Claire Edwards is a food and fine art photographic artist, born and practicing in Cairns, Far North Queensland. Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Photography in 2005, James Cook University.

Rebecca works primarily in the realm of macro, studio, still life photography, her images explore shape, line and detail of still life subjects. Rebecca’s work has a unified fresh, elegant, feminine styling.

In addition to her photography practice Rebecca is currently working as:
Co-director at Cairns Centre for Photography, Exhibitions Coordinator at Heyday Festival, Coordinator Assistant at Queensland Festival of Photography, Community Cultural Development Officer at Creative Partnerships, Cairns Regional Council, Mentor for REACH visual arts high school students.
